Swimming Lesson 101

Mommy has been contemplating for a long time whether to allow me into the chlorinated swimming pool downstairs. Finally, she thinks that I'm a big girl and it's time for me to play in the dangerous pool! WEEEEEeeeeeeEEEE! This is SO fun! Now I get to taste the yummy swimming pool water (yes, M&D had to keep asking me stop sticking out my tongue)

So my mommy, like how she watched those mommies waiting by the poolside with a towel when she was young, became one of them. It was also a hands-on lesson about unsuitable apparatus.
  • My mommy bought me an "S" size swimming suit for kids from Tesco - it was too big and the pants dropped off even before I leave the house.
  • The green ring float belongs to mommy. It was too big for me!
  • So, we ended up without the float, without the swimming suit top and bottom, and wore my 6 months old pants instead.

Yesterday we played in the pool again. This time, my M&D bought this ball and arm floats for me. They thought the 3 yrs old above arm float will fit me, WRONG! So we had to make do with another 6 months old pants, but the ball was fun! WeeeeeEEEeeee! Daddy and I had lotsa fun too, until I laughed Ah Ka Ka Ka ka Ka..

So that's swimming lesson 101 from my daddy. I wish they remember that I had 9 months of intensive swimming lesson in mommy's tummy though.

After that, my daddy and I zzzzzzzz while mommy did the laundry and cooked dinner. After dinner, I asked daddy to read a book to me, insisting to sit on his lap.

I also watched Barney, and I got so excited jumping jumping until I knocked my chin and my teeth injured my lips. Look at me drinking my nen nen (milk) in front of Barney.

What a wonderful life...

A Month of Celebration

Hello aunty, uncle, kor kor, che che and everyone. Can I have your attention for a moment?

Yesterday was my por por's birthday. Though it looked like it was my birthday (even daddy accidently sang Happy Birthday to Caris), it was actually the 2nd year I celebrated birthday with my por por.

Last year I celebrated her birthday too, but I didn't had a chance to eat the cake.

Tomorrow will by
Ryan's Daddy's Birthday. Happy Birthday to Uncle Mike! Wishing you a Blessed birthday with Aunt Irene, Ryan and Ryan adik (and all the babies you helped to bring into the world). Next year, I will celebrate your birthday with you OK? I am very bz one.

Next will be my Mommy's & Uncle Luke's birthday next week; and Aden's daddy's birthday the week after. Happy birthday to Mommy, Uncle Luke and Uncle Alvin. Of course, after that will be Jesus Christ's birthday.

We celebrated all these celebrations in ONE single day 2 years ago, where I was the ultimate present for Mommy & Daddy. Happy 2nd Anniversary M&D. Kiss.

Now, do you believe me when I tell you it's a month of celebration?

My Adventures in Taiping Zoo

My mommy & daddy brought me to Taiping Zoo last Saturday, a weekend outing since por por came over. We initially wanted to arrive there as earlier as possible, however as usual, we ended up arriving there at noon. It was real hot! This was the first time I get to walk outdoors on those dangerous roads (where I will injure myself if I fall). The entrance fee was RM12 for adults, expensive!

Uncle Orang Utan was going around freely with the rangers holding his hands like how daddy mommy hold my hand. So weird.

This is mommy's favourite part of the Zoo, the Safari. So many spot spot and stripe stripe, no wonder daddy had to wear sunglasses.

It was hot, I was tired! But I still refused to sit in my stoller!

Can you spot the Honey Bear?

A photo for remembrance as we leave after 2 hours. Mommy says we will not be coming back any time soon, as it is not really suitable for little kids like me..... yet....

I was still happy when we left the zoo, since I got to mum mum in the car while the adults had to look for an air-conditioned place for lunch.

And after lunch in Tesco, I pancit (worn-out)

My PJs

This is my favourite pyjamas. It is cheap and good - RM10 (sometimes discount 15%) and the it is well designed; ample space for my cloth diaper and cuff at the ankle so that I do not step on the oversize pants. Mommy bought 5 for me and she says I should be able to wear them till 2 years old (hopefully). Furthermore, daddy says I look like the "mascot" on it - Little Coro from Pigeon. In case you're wondering why so many kids are wearing these pyjamas, well, it is cheap and good.

Notice the 4 mozzie bites on my left leg? They were from 1 mosquito in the car and I got all these bites while I was jumping in the car. It puzzles M&D why mozzies like me so much. Now you don't see them, and now you see them! It will take days for those bites to go away and the only way to stop me from scratching them is to make sure I wear long pants.

Yesterday was a rare ocassion where M&D pampered themselves with a nice meal and Dragon-i. I also pampered myself with the hand-made noodle, see how i slurp the noodle!

I have been sick for 2 weeks, runny nose and cough. Dr Sim gave me 3 types of yummy medicine syrup and I enjoy drinking them! This is a happy baby with a lack of sleep mommy. Uncle Colgate, wanna employ me as your model?

I'm a big little girl now who knows how to imitate what adults do. When Mommy whisper to Daddy, I whisper to them also. When the kor kor and che che sings Head and Shoulders, Knees and Toes in the Bible Action Songs VCD, I imitate their actions to point on my knees and toes.
But M&D are still wondering who I imitate this from: Looking into my potty to see what comes out when I push my tummy this way, and is it different if I push that way, and when I use my hand to squeeze my tummy, does anything comes out?....
