Last Saturday, Mommy decided to go to the market in Bayan Baru since she can dropped by in Sunshine Square (SS) which was having its member's day. SS opened at 8.30am, since Mommy arrived there around 8.40am, she thought there will be very few people and perhaps she can get a packet of Mamypoko L which was selling at RM29.90.
Surprise! The whole Penang population decided to wake up early that day and joined in the mad Sunshine rush. There were trolleys filled with 100Plus cans, and people waiting at entrance from the loading area into the supermarket, some for 30minutes to grab the 100Plus.
It was no different with Mamypoko area. People were initially waiting around the display area. Then the moved to the ramp (where the trolley with "stocks" came up). Before the trolley can set its wheels on firm ground, hands were going into it and grabbing ferociously, aunties, uncles, young and old stepping on each other's foot.
While watching this "action movie", a lady was looking left and right, and pushed Mommy's trolley away (with things inside!). Mommy told her, "Hello, this is my trolley". Guess what she replied? "Oh yes? How come you are not pushing it". Mommy: "I went to take some things. Do I need to keep pushing it?"
So, Mommy was thinking hard whether she should continue waiting. She waited for 2 rounds but didn't win the battle. Is it worth all the stress??? Finally, she decided to wait one more round, and she finally GOT THIS. (that also after enduring the force of an aunty who was trying to grab the packet from Mommy).
The conclusion: Stay at home next time and watch (more like play) TV with me.
Looks like Mommy & Daddy need an LCD TV to replace this old one as part of babyproofing. Anyone wants to bless us ????? :)
